Help & support

How can we help?

Answers to the things early walkers ask most. Can't find it? Email us — a real person replies.

Getting started

What is Khora?

Think “the Strava of dog walking”. Khora serves pre-built, cached walks with sniff stops, dog-friendly places and turn-by-turn follow — so you can just pick a good walk and go.

Which cities are covered?

We're starting in London, borough by borough, then expanding city by city. Join the waitlist and we'll tell you the moment your area opens.

Do I need an account?

You can browse walks without one. An account lets you save routes, keep your snaps, and sync across devices.

On the walk

What's a sniff stop?

The lampposts, fountains and greens dogs actually stop for — mapped along the route so the walk is paced for your dog, not just for you.

How does the stray alert work?

If you drift off the route, Khora gives a gentle nudge and points you back. It's a helper for new places — not a replacement for keeping an eye on your dog and your surroundings.

Does GPS follow work offline?

With Khora Pass you can download a walk before you go and follow it fully offline — ideal abroad with no data plan.

Plans & billing

What's free vs Khora Pass?

Free lets you browse and save community walks, follow directions and see sniff stops. Khora Pass adds offline downloads, filters, dog-friendly corridors and live safety alerts.

How much is Khora Pass?

£7.99 a year — less than a coffee a month, and nothing when you're abroad with no data plan. Final pricing is confirmed at purchase.

How do I cancel?

Cancel any time from your app-store subscription settings. You keep Khora Pass until the end of the period you've paid for.

Data & honesty

Why does it say “not tagged yet”?

Because it's true — that detail just hasn't been added yet. We'd rather be honest than pretend a walk is more complete than it is.

Can I delete my snaps and data?

Yes — you can remove snaps any time, and delete your whole account from settings. See our privacy policy for the detail.

Where does the map data come from?

Map & data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), with tiles © CARTO. Routes and sniff stops are added and verified by the Khora community.
